As humans, our nature is to become attached to the habits, beliefs and behaviors that have "worked" for us in the past. We often believe "if we just work harder we'll achieve better results ". Unfortunately, with this type of thinking, we often find ourselves making incremental gains if any, and not the "millennium forward thinking leap we are truly capable of". Our current results teaching Native children in my opinion are the by-product of past thinking and old conditioning. Do not believe for a second that you are achieving all you can. Why is that? Simple, most of our beliefs are limited due to the people who taught us. They did the best they could with the information and experiences of their time.
For the Indian children, previous conditioning is in need of specific attitude first aid. Many Teachers bring with them stereo typical thinking. Most want to teach to their best capability. We are here to infuse the truth and options not taught in books. Our system offers the opportunity to expand knowledge and learn with the assistance of the Native people themselves....
